TACOR announced their acquisition of FLITE Components, LLC in September 2013 from Aero Maintenance Group - AMG (as part of Air France Industries - KLM Engineering & Maintenance network). Owners Mike Norwood and Scott Lawson acknowledged that the purchase “offers very attractive synergies that will be beneficial for both companies and their respective customers. Our plan is to help FLITE continue to offer big company service while refocusing on small business values and pricing”. FLITE is an FAA/EASA 145 certified maintenance facility entering its 65th year in business located next to Dallas Luv Field Airport in Texas. We provide Top Quality Repair, Overhaul and AOG services for a wide variety of Airframe, Composite, and Sheet Metal Components. Specializing in advanced composites (Aramid, Kevlar, Graphite, Fiberglass, Exotics), and metal materials (Aluminum, Stainless, Inconel, Titanium). TACOR is an FAA/EASA 145 certified maintenance facility entering its 21st year in business located near Denton Enterprise Airport in Texas. We provide Top Quality Repair, Overhaul and AOG services for Welding, NDT, Hydrostatic Pressure Testing, Sheet Metal, Sand Blasting, Painting, Tooling and Fixtures. Our worldwide customers include but are not limited to Airlines, OEM’s, MRO Facilities, Brokerage Firms, and Consulting Organizations that support Commercial, Military, Business, Regional, and Private Aircraft.
