FLO, a brand owned by ABS GRID LTD UK, is an agricultural finance facilitation entity that coordinates a structured investment system to enable input and output and agri insurance premium financing for farmers through digital agri-ecosystems across emerging markets. FLO (A) aggregates and provides access to digital agri-ecosystems spanning different geographies and crop value chains; (B) facilitates the establishment of investment vehicles by identifying and pooling capital from investors into a Global Investment Pool managed by an appointed Fund Manager, with a segregated portion allocated to a dedicated India and Africa Investment Pool; and (C) oversees the deployment of pooled capital from the investment vehicles into the digital agri-ecosystems to fund and facilitate input financing to smallholder farmers at crop cycle start through partner financial institutions, as well as output financing through direct reimbursement of provided capital from crop purchasers upon sale of harvest by the farmers. Through this coordinated system, FLO enables efficient flow of agricultural financing embedded with insurance, digital monitoring and risk mitigation measures to address issues faced in farmer financing. By leveraging ALLIN and BRIISK's digital platforms, FLO creates holistic agricultural ecosystems managing the entire farming cycle from input purchases and soil testing to crop insurance and produce sales. We build "demand-chains" connecting farmers, buyers, and investors in a sustainable network, transforming traditionally risky agricultural endeavors into attractive, impact-driven investments. Operating across various agricultural value chains in Africa and India, FLO aims to bridge the US$ 240 billion annual financing gap in emerging markets.
