About Floor Merchant

Floor Merchant was established in 1997. When we first started, we were strictly a wholesale tile distributor, that means, we did not sell to the public. With the economic downturn in 2008, over 40% of our wholesale customers either went bankrupt or just shut their doors. In order for our company to continue to purchase large quantities of tile from our suppliers worldwide, we had to expand our customer base in a hurry, that is when we opened our warehouses to the public.In addition to selling to the general public, we still wholesale to industry professionals and dealers which has proven to be a very loyal part of our overall business. We pride ourselves on a simple premise; no gimmicks - just great deals. We invite everyone to visit our showroom and overstocked warehouse to experience the lowest pricing for the highest quality ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, commercial quarry tile and installation material in south east Texas.
