The Flooring Capital Development Corporation (FCDC) is a nonprofit development corporation that provides leadership, financial, and technical support to build a robust housing continuum in Whitfield County. We at FCDC firmly believe that Dalton is the best place in North Georgia to work, live, and play. We have the tools and expertise to strategically position Dalton for housing success and thus economic success through public-private partnerships. We have linked resources, minds, and strategy with The Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce, Believe Greater Dalton, The Joint Development Authority, government officials, industry leaders, our hospital system, superintendents, college presidents, and housing experts across Georgia to build housing options for all demographics. Housing is economic development, and retail follows rooftops. It’s time to create housing strategies that match our economic ingenuity.
