Floral Art School of Australia and International Floral Design School Advanced Certificate of Floristry Courses for an exciting career or a rewarding hobby. Learn to create fabulous floral designs including bowl and basket arrangements, posies, centrepieces, gift boxes of flowers, bridal designs and flowers for special occasions. The Online Floristry Course includes how to create 30 different floral designs and additional freestyle deigns. Flower identification, how to care for flowers for the longest possible life, basic rules of flower arranging such as balance, proportion, harmony, colour co-ordination, the business side of floristry and so much more. The online correspondence course includes a large floristry manual for each term and the floristry supplies such as bowls, baskets, ribbon, wire and tape for the practical lessons. You will also receive online video lessons showing you each lesson being made step by step. We have students who are interested in a career in floristry and other students who want to learn how to create fabulous floral designs for their own home and for family and friends. There are three terms in the course. Each term has ten practical lessons. You have up to 18 months to complete the course but you can complete it in much less time also as you work at your own pace. About the School The school was established in 1972 and during this time have been very successful in teaching floristry. The Principal will work with you personally on a one to one basis throughout the course. The course also covers the business side of floristry including how to start your own floristry business from home.
