Florence is in 1987 opgericht onder de naam Florence Nails door prijswinnend nagelstyliste Berdy Kuijpers. In Wijchen opende ze haar eerste salon en al snel volgden filialen in Nijmegen en Arnhem. Door de toenemende vraag naar opleidingen en haar grote passie voor het vak startte Berdy haar eigen opleidingsinstituut en private label. Florence Nails werd een merk! Berdy verkocht haar nagelstudio’s en opende vervolgens de deuren van Florence Nails B.V., Groothandel & Opleidingsinstituut. Inmiddels is Florence Beauty and Nails uitgegroeid tot één van de leidende opleidingsinstituten en groothandels voor nagelstyling in Nederland.
