The Florida Agriculture Center and Horse Park is fast becoming recognized as destination location for a variety of recreational enthusiasts and world-class equestrians of all disciplines. Created by the Florida ligislature in 1996, the park encompasses 500 acres, in the heart of horse country just southwest of the City of Ocala, Its ideal location to highway access make this Central Florida landmark an easy trip for visitors. In fact, the Florida Horse Park was named an official training site for the United States Equestrian Team in 2006. The Canadian team has also been housed there. Currently, a massive 79,500 square-foot covered arena is in the final stages of construction. The structure will offer spectators and competitors alike protection during inclement weather. Located at 11008 South Highway 475, the venue plays host to a variety of activities, not all of which are equestrian related.
