We're FLOX, The Healthy Chicken Company – using advanced Artificial Intelligence to bring better welfare, productivity and sustainability to the broiler supply chain. Broilers are chickens raised for meat; and we'll rear up to 1.8 trillion in the next few decades. While bird welfare is at the heart of what we do, our tech also enables increased productivity and profitability for farmers (know in the industry as 'performance'), more transparency and accountability across the full supply chain (including for you – the consumer), and reduced environmental impact. A classic win-win-win-win, as they say. Here's how the FLOX Fix works: Off-the-shelf hardware (cameras & sensors) + advanced AI (machine vision and learning) + 24/7 alerts and analytics = better welfare and performance. Since founding in 2018, we've grown to a team of 14 across offices in London, the SW of England, and Poland. Our core product is operational in 10 commercial sheds, and we count the UK's largest poultry producer as a client. FLOX is backed by some of the best in the business – funded by SpeedInvest (EU), Acequia Capital (US), & AI Seed Fund (UK) & the European Space Agency. Our founding team has built, scaled and sold 8 poultry and AI companies between them. In short, we're ready to take our tech to sheds everywhere and get on with doing the important work of improving the lives of the chickens we eat.
