About FLUPOL - Surface Engineering
Founded in 1986, FLUPOL is an industrial company whose expertise stands on the development and application of non-stick, anti-corrosion and self-lube coatings, usually on metallic parts; nevertheless, other substrates as ceramics, glass, FRP, etc. are also within our solutions portfolio. Our aim is to solve the most diverse range of adhesion, corrosion and lubrication problems, usual in multiple industrial processes. In order to satisfy our customers' needs, FLUPOL is seeking the continuous improvement of all its processes, and is available to develop the best solutions for each situation, in strict co-operation with its customers and suppliers. ONE TO ONE SERVICE Starting from the fluoropolymer resins coating technology, FLUPOL assumes the identity of a SERVICE company entirely oriented towards the development of specific SOLUTIONS for specific PROBLEMS of the production process of each customer, sustained on a DIALOGUE basis conducing to the creation of synergies by fusion of knowledge. Our concept of SOLUTION is not limited to the resolution of an isolated problem, standing on a wider objective of finding integrated solutions that can allow our customer to improve his process, reduce costs, guarantee its sustainability, reduce environmental impact and thus increase the added value, improve competitiveness and increase product differentiation. CERTIFICATION FLUPOL is the only Portuguese approved by Du Pont de Nemours to apply its products from the Teflon®, range, and is a Teflon® Licensed Industrial Applicator (L.I.A.). FLUPOL's Quality Assurance System has been certified in 1997 in conformity with the requirements of NP EN ISO 9002. This System has also been certified in 2000 to QS9000 standards (specific standard of certification for suppliers of the automotive industry). In October 2003 we achieved a new goal: Certification ISO 9001:2000 Certification ISO / TS 16949:2002
