About Flutterby Fund
The Flutterby Fund is a not for profit charity with the aim to help children with mental and physical disabilities from low income families in the UK access therapy and equipment not available on the NHS. This is done through the provision of funding for private therapy and equipment. The Flutterby Fund works closely with a local therapy clinic called Sophia's House (www.sophias-house.co.uk). The Flutterby Fund was set up in October 2014 by a mum of a child with Global Developmental Delay and Autism. She wanted to be able to help other families access intensive therapy that would help enable their children to reach their full potential. Through working at the Flutterby Fund and with Sophia's House, it has not just become about the therapy and equipment but about a great support network for all of the families.
