ENG: Born from an idea of Fernando Rosiello, a young Marine biology student at Newcastle University, UK, Fly-Fish Sportswear is a Made in Italy company that produces gear, accessories and apparel related to the fields of Marine biology and fishing. Fly-Fish wants to spread a message of love and respect of nature and its population, strongly promoting the “catch and release” fishing. An additional innovation that Fly-Fish Sportswear bring to the public is the representation not only of the always majestic oceanic predators but also of the wonderful and colourful and not well-known organisms of the Mediterranean Sea. As you can see, we did not choose a well-known marlin or a strong tuna as our logo, but we chose a flying fish. It fully shows what we would like to be: A small, but wonderful fish, humble, but, at the perfect time, it starts to fly! IT: Fly-Fish Sportswear nasce da un’idea di Fernando Rosiello, un giovane studente di Biologia Marina e Oceanografia presso la Newcastle University nel Regno Unito. La nostra compagnia, targata Made In Italy, produce abbigliamento e accessori di alta qualità relativi ai campi di pesca sportiva, biologia marina e nautica. Fly-Fish vuole trasmettere un messaggio di amore e rispetto nei confronti del mare e dei suoi numerosissimi abitanti, promulgando fortemente il cosiddetto catch and release. Un’ulteriore innovazione che Fly-Fish Sportswear vuole portare al suo pubblico comprende non solo i classici, e sempre spettacolari, predatori oceanici, ma anche i meravigliosi e poco conosciuti organismi del Mar Mediterraneo, ricchi di colori e peculiari caratteristiche. Come avete notato, abbiamo scelto, come simbolo del nostro marchio, un pesce volante, e non un forzuto tonno o un maestoso blue marlin. Esso rispecchia pienamente ciò che noi vogliamo essere: un piccolo ma meraviglioso pesce, umile, ma, nel momento adatto, distende le sue “ali” e spicca il “volo”!
