About Fme Limited

FME Limited ("FME") is a New Zealand registered limited liability company based in Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty. Tania and Kasey Dovaston are both owners and directors. FME is a service providing and manufacturing company that has as its core business the provision of fabrication, mechanical engineering design, general engineering and the other engineering related services. These services are provided in a linked two tier system emerging from a single collective central resource core – custom/bespoke high-value services and products, and general engineering services respectively. Service and manufacture charges are consequently dictated by the relevant tier, custom services/manufacture use a value plus base hourly rate platform, while general services are charged off a base hourly rate. Existing service providers do not adequately address the evolving needs of identified niche target markets, particularly in innovating the core business services offered into other high-value, unique and bespoke segments. FME provides complete year round services to a wide range of local and national industries – including the horticultural, food grade manufacturing equipment, yachting and boat building industry, bespoke industrial style furniture manufacture industries respectively. FME services private, commercial and industrial facilities in the Bay of Plenty between Tauranga, Katikati, Waihi, Te Puke, Whakatane, and Rotorua providing engineering and manufacturing capability in the following areas: Fabrication, Fitting, Arc, MIG and TIG Welding (specialists in aluminum and stainless steel), hydraulics including hose crimping, Profile /Plasma Cutting, access to CNC Machining specialists, Maintenance and Plant maintenance management, Shopfitting, Design, Machining, Manufacturing, Refurbishing/Overhauls, Spray painting and Turning (this list is not intended to be exhaustive). FME also offers on site engineering services and solutions.
