About FMI Building Innovation
In 1968 we began as Fairview Metal Industries (FMI) originating in Timaru, New Zealand. Initially supplying steel windows from a small manufacturing plant, our Fairview brand has since evolved to a network of over 50 fabricators located across the country, offering our customers an extensive range of exceptional window and door solutions. Over the decades, our knowledge and capabilities as manufacturers grew, and so did the footprint of our wider business. We started producing our own cladding, fencing, glass balustrades, accessories, and plenty more. We now have three channel to market brands, Eurowood, Fairview, and Vetro Raccordi. Across these channels we supply some of New Zealand’s finest building materials for applications across thousands of Kiwi homes and industries. Over the past 53 years, our customers have come to know of us as industry innovators. We’re always looking forward, pushing boundaries, and pioneering improvements in products through sophisticated research and testing. But the true essence of our company is our people. The ingenuity and passion of hundreds of Kiwis who have driven our energy to strive for better solutions, and helped shape the exceptional business that we are today.
