Acquired by Bottomline Technologies July 2020. Thought leaders and pioneers in the CRM space before CRM was a trend with the development of the Relationship Management System (RMS). With great foresight FMR trademarked the Relationship Management System over 30 years ago. RMS initially provided solution support for sales tracking & reporting, client & contact management, referral tracking, to do & task management, and pipeline management. Functional support was later expanded to include treasury management onboarding, implementation tracking, smart setup forms, workflow, and customer service/problem issue tracking. RMS was purpose built for the financial services industry and was typically implemented in banks $5 billion in assets or larger throughout North America. As an enterprise CRM solution supporting hundreds to thousands of users across multiple lines of business, RMS provided unique capabilities to support each LOBs unique sales tracking, pipeline management, and contact management needs. As a result of continual innovation and leadership, FMR discovered a niche need in treasury management to automate the product setup and implementation tracking process, thus developing the FMR Implementation Tracking & Onboarding Platform offering 1) Smart Setup Forms to intelligently capture product setup details, 2) Workflow administratively configured to support the new, change/maintenance, and service cancellation processes, 3) Dashboards to display the logged on users assigned implementations and tasks, and 4) analytics and reports to provide insight into the overall process. Bottomline ultimately acquired FMR to incorporate the FMR Client Onboarding platform within the Bottomline product set.
