About FOCUS Marines Foundation
Focus Marines Foundation is a nationally recognized organization based in St. Louis, Missouri. It was conceived, designed, and established by Marine Corps veterans with the mission to help our current generation of Marines, Sailors, Navy Corpsmen, and other service members. The organization was founded with a commitment to address the needs of our country’s embattled post-9/11 veterans and their struggles with the visible and invisible wounds of war – post traumatic stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Our supporters and strategic partners have pooled our time, talents and financial resources to help wounded, ill and injured service men and women returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to make successful and rewarding transitions from military to civilian lives. Our mission is simple and direct.... “To develop and administer programs for wounded warriors which will assist them in their transition from military to civilian lives.” To accomplish this mission, in 2011, Focus Marines Foundation developed a program called FOCUS. The objective of FOCUS is to help each Marine and any post-9/11 veteran overcome their invisible as well as visible wounds, and become an active member of society and to realize his or her dreams, goals and full potential.
