Working with a wide network of specialists, Folio Art Services offers customized support in the following areas: MANAGEMENT: Recognizing that every collection is unique Folio develops bespoke management systems to meet the needs of each client. As part of the cataloging process, objects are photographed in detail and all relevant documentation is digitized, including invoices, agreements, provenance, and condition reports. The result is a dynamic database that can evolve with client needs andproduce customized reports for collectors and advisors. LOGISTICS: Folio coordinates purchase transactions, negotiates and manages loan agreements, directs de-installation and crating teams, arranges domestic and international transport, and acts as courier if needed. Best practices are always employed to protect the safety and integrity of every object, whether being shipped overseas or moved across town. STRATEGY: Folio evaluates consignment proposals and marketing strategies for selling individual works or a collection as a whole, provides creative direction to maximize potential, and acts as an advocate for the client throughout the process. During estate administration Folio will supervise donation and tax appraisals, and work with legal advisors, trustees, and heirs to carry out directives for the donation, bequest, and sale of collection assets.
