Folio Films started in 2019, born out of a friendship and a shared vision. Founders Jeremy Handrup and Alex Zimmer grew up together and later became filmmakers, mastering the art of narrative and documentary storytelling. When they launched Folio Films, their mission was clear: take the skills they’d honed and use the internet’s most powerful tool—video—to help brands and like-minded individuals solve meaningful problems. Over the years, we’ve grown—not just in team size, but in our understanding of how to solve the challenges businesses face today. We’ve worked with countless organizations eager to tell their story but unsure how to reach their audience. Through every project, we’ve refined our craft and evolved from a video production company into a full-fledged video strategy firm.
