Founded in 2016 by Camilla Brugnoli, Folpetto is a premium children’s swimwear brand. The inspiration for Folpetto Swimwear came from her childhood memories of carefree summer days spent with family on the beaches of Italy. As an Italian who has now lived abroad for the past 20 years, she wanted to give her own children the same magical experience she had growing up, while also ensuring they were protected from the sun and looking their best. After searching for swimwear that met her high standards and expectations, she decided to create Folpetto Swimwear to produce high-quality, long-lasting swimwear that could be passed down to siblings, cousins, and friends. Folpetto use eco-friendly, high-performing fabrics to create chic and playful designs that prioritize children's fit, comfort, and sun protection. Our swimsuits are crafted with passion, heart, and skill by a small family firm in Italy, and the name Folpetto, which means little octopus in Venetian, reflects the love and protection every mother has for their little ones.
