About Fondy Food Center, (Fondy)

The Fondy Food Center is a non-profit aiming to bridge the gap between local farms and community tables. Located on the north side, we are Milwaukee’s oldest (105 years) and largest farmers market. We work to extend purchasing power and increase fresh food to both SNAP and EBT recipients. Additionally, Fondy champions small-scale, predominantly BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) farmers by providing 40 acres of land at the Mequon Nature Preserve. By bringing our local markets and farmers together, market spending is kept within our communities and benefits our neighborhoods.
