Created by Antony Dobrzensky, Food Ink is a revolutionary dining experience where all the furniture, all the flatware, and all the food is 3D-printed right before your eyes, taking you through a twelve-course gastronomy experience and on a thrilling trip to the future and back! In the style of Ice Bars, Dining in the Dark, and the Hard Rock Cafe, we are a theme restaurant where the experience elevates the cuisine. At Food Ink, we use the universal language of food as a fun and engaging way to promote awareness about the amazing possibilities of 3D-printing and other promising new technologies, and to inspire people with an exciting glimpse of the future. Food Ink's wildly successful world premiere took place in London in 2016. This event was the first fully 3D-printed dinner in history, with coverage by leading international media including the BBC, Forbes, Reuters, Vice, Wired, TimeOut, Daily Mail, ABC, SkyNews, and Business Insider, and with online videos and reporting collectively totalling over 25 million views. The Food Ink experience includes other emerging technologies such as Virtual Reality appetizers, music by Artificial Intelligence, immersive futuristic visuals, and other fun surprises. We are now bringing this extraordinary new restaurant format to a number of trendsetting capitals around the world through a series of "printout popups".
