About Food Service Professionals
Food Service Professionals (FSP) is a full-service food management organization that lays the groundwork for productive students through wholesome meals, supportive services, and nutrition education programs at private, parochial, and public elementary and secondary schools in northern Illinois and northwest Indiana. We offer on-site and pre-plated satellite meal service. Registered dietitians and professional chefs plan our menus and develop recipes using science-based research and culinary flair. Our meals provide: -Fresh fruits and vegetables -Whole grains -Low-fat milk with no growth hormones or antibiotics -Leaner meats -Limited processed foods -A more natural flavor profile -Organic and locally-grown food, when available -Less sugar -Less saturated fat -Zero grams of trans fats per serving in our made-from-scratch recipes Students love our meals because they taste good and offer variety.
