FoodiesLikeUs.com is a Scottsdale-based food-centric company that brings the Valley foodie community together, and provides unique and affordable culinary adventures to the home cook. Hinged on uniting people who enjoy food, and who center their social activity around it, we introduce food lovers to new and affordable culinary experiences. We host a mix of events each month including a social at various eclectic restaurants and wine bars throughout the Phoenix and Denver areas. For Jay Pizarro and Susie Timm, food was always more than just a source of nutrition. They discovered early on that food had the ability to bring people together and create life-long memories. Whether it was dining out with friends and family, turning vacations into culinary adventures, or experimenting in the kitchen, some of their most joyous experiences involved food. They found nearly everyone they crossed paths with had some degree of the “foodie” spirit, but many didn’t realize they too could create these same experiences regardless of their budget. The duo was determined to show them otherwise, so with a dash of creativity, a pinch of inspiration and a heap of passion, Foodies Like Us was born.
