Tom Suddes founded The Suddes Group in 1983 after serving as Director of Development at The University of Notre Dame and founding 11 companies in various sectors. For Impact was launched by The Suddes Group in 2001 as an initiative to share our point-of-view, frameworks and sales process with an entire community of individuals and organizations looking to change the world. For Impact has become a movement – the impact of which has transcended our core business. For 40 years, For Impact has been creating and supporting levers for change by serving the best social sector organizations in the world and working on the most pressing social issues of our time including: climate restoration, food security, equality and justice, public education, and international health. In support of these causes, For Impact has helped raise over $2 Billion. We’ve also provided leadership development and fundraising training to over 10,000 leaders, representing every state in the U.S. and 40+ countries. We have worked alongside social impact organizations ranging from community based organizations in rural Kenya to international NGOs to nonprofits in the heart of New York City. For Impact has long been a leader in coaching nonprofits. Our coaches are more than consultants and advisors – we serve as strategic play callers, partners in the field, trainers, team leaders, and even professional growth motivators. FI is also very good at developing coaches in the field. Our lineage comes out of American higher education as well as economic development and faith-based fundraising.
