About Forest Troll Art
Forest centered and inspired! Brought up in worlds of make-believe, I love creating functional art that evokes the care I feel for this beautiful wild world. I use found images, photoshop, mending, screen printing, stamping, Eco-Printing, natural dye and other methods to create my work. Sustainability is a central theme in my work as an artist and environmental educator. I started my business Forest Troll Art (FTA) in 2018 to share my work. I teach mending, sewing, reuse, and other skills in-person and online through YouTube and TikTok. In the shop I sell mended, remade, and naturally dyed clothing along with accessories such as patches and pins with ecological themes. I aim to inspire my students to evaluate their wardrobes and determine how they can better role model sustainable practices.
