About Forewarned Films

Forewarned Films is a television and film production company based in Los Angeles and responsible for the originally-scripted eight-part sci fi series BROKEN TOY; award-winning feature film, IN THE DARK, and the recent VFX heavy, high-action Batman fan short, DEMON IN THE DARK. Filmmaker Letia Clouston earned a BFA in Theatre at Stephens College and was classically trained at the British American Dramatic Academy at Oxford University before moving to Los Angeles. After graduating with a MFA in Directing at the American Film Institute and finishing her award-winning thesis film, AB NEGATIVE, Letia directed over 30 short films, including the PSA EVERY 15 MINUTES, which won three Telly Awards and was chosen by the LAPD as a teaching tool for LA high schools. She has directed seven feature films, each distributed internationally, including her thriller IN THE DARK, family films 3 TIMES A CHARM, A DOGWALKER’S CHRISTMAS TALE, and ALL SHE WISHES, as well as a horror film, THE 6TH FRIEND and the upcoming HAUNTED. After earning a BFA in Film & Drama at Syracuse University, Forewarned Film's Matt then moved to New York to cut his teeth on stage. And, after performing in a dozen Off-Broadway plays, Matt moved to LA to work in film. Unwilling to wait for roles to be handed to him, Matt taught himself high end visual effects and opened Forewarned Films.
