About Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center

Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center supports, empowers, and improves medical access, health outcomes, and quality of life for Alabama breast cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones from the day of diagnosis through the balance of life. Forge was created by a partnership among Brookwood Baptist Health, Grandview Medical Center, Ascension St. Vincent's, UAB Medicine and the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham. We provide a variety of resources and support, including help with transportation to medical appointments, nutrition assistance, free mental health counseling, support groups, lifestyle and health education classes, financial counseling, and help with any obstacle that stands in the way of healing.
