About Forge Evolution/Colorado Springs Teen Court

Forge Evolution represents an exciting new chapter in the saga of the organization formerly known as Colorado Springs Teen Court, which will enable our incredible team to serve and support even more of our Colorado Springs youth and families. Forge Evolution represents a monumental shift towards the philosophies our staff, volunteers, and community partners have always believed in: prevention and creation. It is our desire to provide, or create, exciting new opportunities for our Colorado Springs youth through a comprehensive gamut of services that include: mentoring programs, motivational coaching in order to prepare for college, career, and other professional pathways, leadership development curriculum, family resources, and resiliency-building experiences; it is our belief that these services, resources, and experiences will provide each teen we see with the skills, tools, and personal aspirations necessary to help prevent them from making detrimental decisions that may negatively impact their future. Over the past year, our teens and our community faced challenges like we have never seen. Going forward, some of these hurdles will linger. Our ability to adapt, improvise, and overcome will be put to the test. And Forge Evolution will be here to support our youth as they navigate educational systems that may be in-person, virtual, or a hybridized model, to provide basic human resources and needs like helping connect families who are struggling for critical resources, to be a second chance for a child who slips up in the midst of a pandemic, and to let them know that one mistake does not define who they are or who they will be. We are excited to continue to serve more youth in an ever-evolving world in more innovative ways. Together, we will FORGE ahead and continue to bring valuable resources to every family and to every youth that we can reach. We look forward to embarking on this exciting journey together, as one community, towards one brighter future!
