About Forge Hammer Entertainment
Introducing Forge Hammer Entertainment’s Seekers of the Ancient: Seekers of the Ancient is a cutting-edge multiplayer RPG designed to offer players a seamless blend of reliable PvP and PvE combat, a player-driven building system, random loot mechanics, and a host of custom-built features that promise a fresh and exciting experience. Developed on dedicated servers, Seekers of the Ancient ensures stable, immersive gameplay while promoting cooperative play that empowers players to shape the world around them. At its core, the project began as a passion-driven endeavour during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was born from a desire to provide gamers with something familiar yet innovative, as the gaming industry was filled with remakes and remasters of classic titles. Forge Hammer Entertainment’s co-founder, David Larochelle, who has extensive experience in programming and a deep understanding of game engines, laid the groundwork by coding the game’s core systems. This initiative quickly gained attention from leading figures in the game development space, including Aleksei Ovchinnikov, founder and CEO of N-hance Studio, a top-rated publisher of stylized 3D assets for Unity and Unreal Engine. With Aleksei’s experience working on AAA titles, the project quickly evolved into what is now known as Seekers of the Ancient—a completely custom-built online RPG focused on delivering a community-driven experience. Forge Hammer Entertainment Inc., based in Québec, Canada, has since grown into a full-fledged indie game studio. Each major department—code, art, and design—is run by the founding team, ensuring a close-knit collaboration that drives quality and a unified vision for the game’s development.
