Our mission is to help children develop a positive self-image through the improvement of the critical learning skills necessary to be successful learners. Our vision is to be an essential part of a community that values and encourages all children and their unique abilities to learn. WE BELIEVE every child is different. Their right to learn is the same. WE BELIEVE every child wants to learn. WE BELIEVE given the right set of tools, every child can learn. WE KNOW brain-based, success oriented programs are necessary in the battle against learning difficulties. WE KNOW individualized, one-to-one instruction can meet the needs of students who would otherwise be left behind. WE KNOW changing learning behaviors and building critical learning skills leads to changing lives, changing families, and changing communities. WE BELIEVE in your child and their ability to learn. All instruction is delivered through an individualized, one-to-one approach designed to address the unique needs of each child. Every child has an individual learning plan based on an initial Academic Assessment. Each individual plan is dynamic, with adjustments made as often as necessary to continue to promote a student’s progress and success. Instruction at FWCL is individualized, intensive, systematic, and explicit. Programs are well-respected, brain-based, scientifically proven and success oriented. Our priority is to create an environment where children are building the academic skills, the learning habits, and the self-confidence necessary not only to survive, but to thrive in school and life.
