About FORTEK Aerospace
Founded in 2010, FORTEK Aerospace is a family-owned FAA and EASA-certified repair station based in South Florida, delivering expert avionics and component repair for commercial, defense, and business aviation markets. Our story began with Rodolfo, an electrical engineer who rose from precision instrumentation repair to university scientist, innovating in analog-sensor integration. After moving to Louisville, he worked in the Innovation department at GE Appliances, earning multiple invention certifications, before founding and leading Engineering operations at AIRE-TECH Aerospace. Rodolfo then co-founded FORTEK Aerospace to bring his deep technical knowledge to the demanding world of aviation MRO. His son, Manuel , followed a parallel path in innovation—earning his electrical engineering degree from Florida International University, leading robotics research for nuclear inspection, and collaborating with companies like Ford, Rockwell Collins, and Northrop Grumman. A recipient of the Great Minds in STEM leadership award, Manuel joined Rodolfo to help lead FORTEK’s next generation. Together, Rodolfo and Manuel now serve as sole owners, combining decades of technical excellence with a vision for high-integrity, high-performance aerospace support. At FORTEK, we fuse engineering rigor with responsive customer service, offering rapid turnarounds, unmatched repair quality, and a deeply personal commitment to excellence in flight
