Fortela is a brand created in 2015 by Alessandro Squarzi, an entrepreneur and talent scout with more than 30 years' experience in the fashion and luxury market. Fortela channels his own personal idea of style, and it was created from his own vast wardrobe archive, considered one of the most important archives in Europe for vintage men's fashion research. Since 2020, Alessia Giacobino, a designer and also an established fashion and luxury entrepreneur, has joined Squarzi in designing the brand's entire women's line, thus completing the brand's offering.
