Forthright Engineering was founded in 2001 to provide mechanical and electromechanical engineering, project management, product development, and prototype design in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and RTP NC. Our clients need to get quality products to market quickly and efficiently. Our clients range in size from high-tech start-ups that require resourcefulness and entrepreneurial spirit, to large established companies that demand a high level of professionalism and the ability to interact and communicate with a larger, extended team that may span the globe. Our technical team has more than a century of collective experience in mechanical product development with top-tier companies in a wide range of industries. We have the creativity and analytical capability necessary for virtually any technical challenge. Our prototype and product design expertise includes industrial, commercial, consumer, and medical product design in addition to custom machine and fixture design. We utilize 3D CAD for all designs and we are fluent on any commercially available software platform. We know from experience that the most important determining factor for the success of a development project is this: communication.
