Forum Capital Partners is a leading provider of advisory and fundraising services to experienced private investment managers seeking to diversify and enhance their investor bases. Our extensive experience advising established and emerging manager groups includes teams that are spinning out of existing sponsors or large financial institutions, those that have managed "friends and family" portfolios or proprietary capital, groups raising their first or second institutional funds and former "fundless sponsors." Forum also advises our clients on investor relations and administration issues where desired, and helps general partners address dislocation within their investor bases and navigate any resulting secondary sale processes. We structure our engagements to align our interests with those of our clients. We work with a limited number of fund groups each year to deliver continuous senior level involvement, and since we never represent competing funds, sponsors will always have priority with our institutional investor audience. Forum covers a worldwide network of institutional private equity, real estate and real asset investors, and the consultants and advisors who support their decision-making processes. Our investor network includes many industry thought leaders including the largest corporate, public and union pension funds, leading endowments and foundations, fund of funds managers, insurance companies, and family offices. Forum was founded by Jeffrey Stern and Robert Schwabe in 2001 as the successor to the private equity business they built and managed at CIBC Oppenheimer and its predecessor firm. Jeff and Bob have worked together since 1994 and have raised nearly $7.0 billion in private equity fund commitments for buyout, growth equity, real estate, infrastructure, natural resources, secondary and other private investment funds worldwide.
