About Forum Ethibel
Forum ETHIBEL is a Belgian not-for-profit organisation, established in 1992, and recognised as an expert in independent auditing and certifying of financial and non-financial products and services that meet ESG and ethical standards Our vision is to actively promote Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to accelerate the achievement of a sustainable society. Our mission is to enhance transparency, social responsibility and ethical behavior on financial markets. We do so by developing specific services and tools, including quality labels, audits and certifications of financial and non-financial products that comply with certain ethical criteria and commitments in terms of the environment, social aspects and good governance. Our services can roughly be divided into the following categories: • The Ethibel products, namely the Ethibel Investment Register, the Ethibel PIONEER and EXCELLENCE LABELS and the Ethibel Sustainability Indices (ESI), comply with specific environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria that are specified by Forum Ethibel. These criteria are of a high standard, aiming at raising the bar in the sector. • The audit and certification services for which clients define their own criteria or quality requirements against which Forum Ethibel audits a product or service. Forum ETHIBEL does not certify just any product, a number of minimum criteria have to be met. • Research and advice related to Socially Responsible Investing and Corporate Social Responsibility.
