At ForwardUs Counseling, our mission is to close the gap in perinatal mental health care by centering relationship health during pregnancy, postpartum and the early parenting years. We are dedicated to helping couples strengthen communication, rebuild intimacy and stay connected through one of life’s biggest transitions. Our Approach: We believe the most effective way to support families is by ensuring both parents feel seen and supported. Using evidence-based therapy, we help couples improve communication, resolve conflict and navigate the identity shifts of parenthood. Just as families create a birth plan, we guide partners in creating a relationship plan--a proactive roadmap that protects connection during pregnancy and postpartum. Our counseling services is rooted in the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and advanced perinatal mental health training. We are committed to honoring the diversity of families we serve, recognizing that race, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation and lived experiences shape how couples experience the perinatal journey.
