About Foscadh Housing
Foscadh Housing was formed in 1999 by a group of concerned individuals who identified a worrying shortfall in the supply and provision of quality affordable homes within their local communities. Through hard work and unfailing commitment, Foscadh Housing has successfully developed into a national organisation, providing a total of 117 high quality houses since its inception in 1999. Foscadh’s building on its extensive expertise and experience, have continued to work closely with communities and authorities, at both local and regional levels, to identify and fulfil housing needs. Our aim remains the same, to supply quality, responsive and effective housing, estate management and maintenance services to people in need. Through on the ground community involvement, Foscadh Housing also empowers tenants to create fully inclusive, thriving and sustainable communities. Foscadh Housing developments are not solely occupied by persons and families taken from the Local Authority Housing List. Our schemes are also open to the homeless, traveller families, single and older people and also those with a disability. Our support and ongoing involvement in the management of each development encourages integration and successful community growth. Foscadh Housing has also worked in partnership with the Safe Home Programme to make available a number of homes to elderly Irish emigrants living in the UK who wish to return home to live in Ireland.
