About Foster Care In The U.S

Foster Care In The U.S. Inc., established and incorporated in 2016, works to change the outcomes of marginalized populations of youth and young adults with a goal of ending youth homelessness in the communities that we serve. Our instrument of change is the IATT Project. The IATT (I Am Tomorrow Today) Project provides dedicated service interventions to address youth homelessness. The project focuses on: Employment, Development, Preparedness, Leadership, and Empowerment. We specifically, intentionally, serve marginalized populations of Homeless, Transitional Foster Care, and At-Risk, youth and young adults between the ages of 16-24. Utilizing public and private donations, and public and private grants, we were able to expand our program to include the creation of dedicated housing for homeless youth in 2022. The historical IATT House is the first and only existing Transitional Supportive Housing home in Evansville, IN which targets and serves Category 1 homeless youth. Homeless youth live in the IATT House for up to three years while they work on the barriers hindering upward mobility.
