About Foster the Village

Our mission is to raise, manage and disburse funds or in-kind donations to the foster care community in Brown County. Foster parents care for children who arrive after being removed from parental custody due to abuse or neglect. When foster families feel supported, it will increase the recruitment and retention efforts by the local agencies that license them. Foster the Village prides itself on helping all foster families in our community. In the 2 years that we have been open, we have met the need for over 1,000 requests for basic care items. Foster the Village is 100% volunteer led and we depend on local support and volunteers to maintain operations.
