About Foston Foundation

About Us: The Foston Foundation trains adults to guide high risk adolescents through their difficult journey to adulthood, by nurturing any gifts and neutralizing any IED's (Invisible Esteem Destroyers) they find along the way. Undergirded by the philosophy of Holistic Mentoring, adolescents will be assessed and guided through a planned series of virtual workshops to find their gifts, in Music, Literature, Performance and Crafting. The participants will also be referred to appropriate professionals to treat any IED's or ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences). Our philosophy is that there is a gift in every child. Once their gift is known, that adolescent has an important tool they can then use to help navigate their own adulthood journey.
