About Fotografi Senza Frontiere (FSF)
Fotografi Senza Frontiere is a non profit organisation that deals with opening permanent photography laboratories in critical areas of the world. Aimed at young people and children who live in permanent state of emergencies, FSF believes in giving them the means to carry out a path of conscious self-representation: students are protagonists of their own story telling. The objective of our organisation is to make autonomous workshops by entrusting them to local managers appointed amongst students of the course. The activities help develop a critical awareness of mass media, stimulate a keen eye of observation of the surrounding world and thus expand on new points of view and storytelling. Our projects offer the opportunity to learn the basics of a profession, training professional photographers through on-site internships and / or scholarships abroad. FSF is also an Investigative Group made up of photographers, videographers, journalists and anthropologists aimed at the production of documentaries, photo shoots, video-reportage, in-depth articles, photographic volumes and exhibition settings. The main orientation of our investigative group is determined by uncovering realities that have been left forgotten or simply omitted by the main narrative.
