About Foundation for Animal Care & Education (FACE)
The Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public charity that provides financial grants for pets in need of critical and lifesaving veterinary care when their owners are unable to fully afford the cost of treatment. Established in San Diego in 2006, FACE has since expanded its lifesaving work to Oahu, and combined, more than 4,000 family pets have been saved from "economic euthanasia," a tragic situation that occurs when a beloved family pet is put down for solely economic reasons. FACE is able to carry out its mission of saving pets and helping families through donations from generous animal lovers, and the discounted services of over 200 veterinary partners.
