About Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio
We’re different than other San Antonio hospitals. Our patients don’t just get better. They get better everything. When Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio opened its doors in 2007 it was primarily a bariatric hospital. Everything from the operating table to the design of the patient rooms was created with the bariatric patient in mind. And it is still an incredibly rewarding part of our hospital. However, as word quickly spread throughout the community of our immense patient dedication, state-of-the-art operating suites and enviable patient accommodations, we expanded our services to include a multitude of other surgical specialties including Orthopedic, Neuro/Spine, General, Pain Management, ENT & Urology. Through this expansion of services, our mission has remained the same; to provide the utmost medical and surgical care by maintaining a low 4-to-1 patient-to-nurse ratio, offering top San Antonio surgical talent and equipping our team with the latest in surgical technology.
