At Foundations Therapy, we see every child as a puzzle. A tangram puzzle is a two-dimensional puzzle with seven pieces and can be used to create an infinite number of designs. Just like a tangram, each child comes to Foundations Therapy with needs. We strive to find the right solution for every child and family. Being in the Tampa Bay area since 2004, we are passionate about working with every child that enters the doors of our Clearwater, FL clinic. We believe every child is unique and wonderful in their own way, and it's our mission to provide individualized care to each child and support to their families until each piece of their puzzle is exactly where it needs to be. Services Offered: Occupational Therapy - Helping children improve cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor skills to be as independent as possible in all areas of their lives. Speech & Language Therapy - Evaluating the development of communication skills, and using individualized programs and methods to bring a child’s language skills up to their age level. Physical Therapy - Assisting children who have gross motor delays from an illness, disease, injury, or disability. Reading Remediation - Creating individualized plans for explicit and systematic instruction for remediating difficulties with reading, writing, spelling and reading comprehension. Feeding Therapy - Addressing feeding problems in order to prevent or eliminate concerns with nutrition and growth/weight gain. Sensory Processing Disorder - Focusing on the internal and external sensory needs of a child for function in school, home and social situations.
