After almost five years of running my own business, I experienced a major burnout that kept me in bed for three days straight. I didn’t want to wake up. I said to myself, “That is enough.” I decided to give myself a break. Like a big reset button, hardly pressed with both hands with a big exhaustion sound coming out of my mouth. The next day, I let go of all my employees and gave myself some “Me Time.” This well-needed break allowed me to rethink my priorities and what I wanted to achieve in life. I reflected a lot about my purpose and the pursuit of purpose in life. Since then, I'm on a quest to figure out how to be the most effective self.
