About Four Point Basketball

What began in 2012 as summer basketball shooting camp has evolved into an organization that supports not only the development of elite basketball players but also aims to increase accessibility of sport to all youth. Four Point Basketball is a non-profit organization that's mission is to provide hands-on structured basketball training, using a curriculum rooted in fundamentals and exceptional coaching, in a caring and positive environment. We support and provide the opportunity and the resources for youth ages 6 years old to 19 years old to actively participate in an organized sport that values personal integrity, team and leadership skills. What makes us different? The Four Point Basketball philosophy is based on four fundamental aspects of basketball shooting: Form, Accuracy, Range and Speed. Through game-situational drills, one-on-one interaction with players and high-volume repetition shooting, attendees are able to see and be aware of how and why they shoot the way they do. By making players aware and breaking down individual aspects of each players shot delivery, players are better able to improve the efficiency of their shot. At Four Point Basketball, we want players to experience the enjoyment and a sense of accomplishment that comes from skill development and the pursuit of excellence. As a result, we are committed to providing players with the skills and tools to achieve their goals. We have developed effective drills to help with shooting in transition, using screens, increasing range and speeding up shooting without sacrificing control or accuracy. In many cases this occurs with only minor tweaks to the shot delivery.
