We are a small consulting firm making a big splash providing solutions specific to your needs. Although we do much more, we specialize in modernizing municipal infrastructure and optimizing operations. As an Environment Officer in the Province of Saskatchewan for over 20 years, I’ve seen a lot of change and with that have come challenges. Our work experience, regulatory acumen, working relationships and attention to your needs will provide desired results. Hello, I’m Donald (Don) Howe, born and raised in Regina, SK, and spent much of my time growing up on my grandparents farm where I learned about hard work and rest only comes after the job is done. It may be cliche, but I treat people as I want to be treated, and I work for people as I would want someone to work for me, and although it may appear these values are a thing of the past, they are not with us. My time spent as the Senior Environment Officer working with First Nations within the Saskatchewan Region was rewarding as I had the opportunity to build new and upgrade existing infrastructure, improve facility operations, implement waste diversion/recycling initiatives, and propose operational efficiency and environmental protection measures within various communities. In addition, I modernized the solid waste program which included developing the field ready electronic inspection report, virtual reality operator training platform, Solid Waste Operating Instructions and measurable improved compliance program focused on positive re-enforcement. Prior to my time working with First Nations, I spent 19 yrs at the Ministry of Environment (MOE) as an Environmental Protection Officer in the Water and Wastewater, Landfill Section, Coal & Southern Operations, and Potash & Central Operations Sections regulating municipalities, private municipal operations, and industrial operations such as Agricultural Processing and Potash Industry.
