Through my experience working as a Physiotherapist I have encountered many challenges with complex health conditions, systemic barriers, reduced communication between professionals, poorly individualised/person centred care… I have also encountered many phenomenal people, stories and opportunities to impact amazing characters. As a physiotherapist, I have had the honour of sitting with and meeting people in their raw human state and helping improve their capacity, comfort and enjoyment in life. I love NDIS and community work for the opportunity it enables to actually spend the necessary time with people, know their world and truly have the insights and capacity to help their reality. I have seen and felt the consequences of people being grounded by pain, immobility, instability, lack of supports… I hope I can help change that story for you.
