About FRACMOD
FRACMOD was founded by Gurpreet Sawhney after working in both the technical and production side of the oil & gas industry for over 25 years. FRACMOD initially began with a focus on Fracture Modeling Services due to the strong need for more expertise in this domain across the industry. While remaining as the industry leading provider for fracture modeling services, the business model quickly adapted to providing fully integrated reservoir studies, our Centre of Excellence creates value for our clients by providing quality insights for informed and real-time decision making. Technology is at the core of our business and we have invested significant capital to acquire industry-leading software. Over the last four years, we have built an in-house proprietary tool called the “Oil CubeTM” – a regional static model that spans entire play fairways of the most significant formations in Western Canada. The Oil CubeTM combines production data with sub-surfaces structures, mineralogy, and fluid properties to identify hidden opportunities and key insights for our clients. By combining the Oil CubeTM with data analytics software, our team can make data-driven decisions that fast-track client projects.
