About Frangimare

Frangimare shows our love for Sicily, art and design. It’s an eclectic and cheery villa, a colorful oasis, a perfect blend between tradition and modernity. Nestled in the sparkling nature of Salina, the island famous for capers and Malvasia, Frangimare is the pop side of Aeolian hospitality. Outside, a terrace with an amazing view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the islands of Panarea and Stromboli, a majestic maritime pine and a Mediterranean garden full of flowers and citrus fruits frame the infinity pool, perfectly integrated into the landscape; inside, attention to detail greets you in every room. Stunning old Sicilian furniture, funky fabrics, antique chandeliers, vintage abat-jours and hand-painted Sicilian ceramics add an inviting and bright ambiance to the house. On the walls, a real gem: a collection of artworks by contemporary artists, in collaboration with the Milanese gallery Fabbrica Eos, surprises with unexpected visions, without overriding the spaces, but merging with them, creating an imperceptible, subtle and silent but at the same time powerful dialogue. The two levels of the villa house three sea view private suites (Aria, Acqua and Terra), perfect for ensuring the privacy of guests, and a convivial living area. Aria, with its pink and green shades, amazes with the sophisticated tub in the main bedroom, perfect for enjoying a relaxing bath, while Acqua offers new perspectives with its hand-crafted desk overlooking the island of Panarea. Terra, cozy and unusual, has a personality all of its own: its two bedrooms, full of well-balanced contrasts induce a restoring but creative sleep. Yoga at dawn, aperitifs at sunset, umbrella-shaded chaise loungers, boat trips; Frangimare is made to be lived according to everyone's inclinations and rhythms. An island within an island, the perfect setting not only for a refined holiday, but also for an intimate wedding, a fashion show, a creative workshop, a vernissage or a family party.
