About Franklin Steel
We are a steel stockholder established in 1981, we have depots in Tyne and Wear and Dumfries meaning we are strategically placed to service the North East & North West of England. As well as South West Scotland and Border areas. We have continually upgraded our products and services to meet our customers needs and expectations to maintain our unique position within this industry. As a result of this we now stock a range of power tools, welding equipment, fasteners, industrial gases etc. associated with the steel fabrication industries to promote our one stop shop ethos. We can also offer a wide range of services for any steel requirements including: Decoiling, straight cutting, mitre cutting, profiling, shearing, drilling, galvanising and fabrication. Product quality and traceability are assured by a Quality System approved by BSEN ISO 9001 & BSEN 1090 at both of our depots as well as only sourcing from CE Approved mills. We are also a member of NASS (National Association Of Steel Stockholders).
